About
Dr. Vimal Kumar Singh Yadav is a Senior Member of IEEE, USA and joined the Department of Electronics Engineering, IIT BHU, Varanasi in May 2025. He has completed his PhD degree with IIT Guwahati (EEE), Assam, India in 2020. He has worked as a SRF in Center for Nanotechnology, IIT Guwahati from September 2019 to August 2021. He has worked as Assistant Professor in Department of ECE, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand from September 2021 to April 2023 and Department of ECE, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNITA) from May 2023 to May 2025. He is Principal investigator of 1 ANRF (ARG) sponsored project on development of printed-electrodes-based low-cost biosensor for detection of cardiac troponin. Dr. Vimal is also co-investigator of ongoing sponsored projects in the areas of biosensor development. He is supervising 4 PhD students and has supervised 5 Masters and 8 B. Tech. Thesis. He has published several IEEE journal and conference papers. He is a reviewer of several reputed journals such as IEEE Sensor Letters, IOP Journals such as Nanotechnology, Physica Scripta. His area of research is Microcantilever-based additive Printed electronics, Printable electronic components, devices and sensors, Single-Nanowire device fabrication, Printed Schottky devices, Biosensors, Devices on natural substrates, Lab-on-skin.
