Payel Rakshit completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science from West Bengal State University. Her area of research interests are Optical Character Recognition, Text Segmentation, Computer Vision and Machine Learning. At present, she is associated with the department of Computer Science, Maheshtala College as an assistant professor (Stage II).
