Dr. Ghosh is presently working as an Assistant Professor and Head in the Department of Commerce, Mugberia Gangadhar Mahavidyalaya, West Bengal. He previously was engaged as a faculty member in the P.G. Department of Commerce, Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. He was conferred the award of Junior Research Fellow by UGC in July 2019 and has completed his doctoral journey (Ph.D.) in 2024 from the Department of Commerce, Vidyasagar University, India. He qualified for the Intermediate level of the Cost & Management Accountants of India in 2018 and completed his Masters of Philosophy (in Finance) in 2019. He has also published a number of articles in journals of repute (publishers being John Wiley & Sons., Springer, Emerald Publishers, etc.) and has presented his seminal works in national and international seminars/webinars, and workshops on a number of occasions. His primary interests in the field of research evolve across the areas of Development Economics, Financial Economics, Econometrics, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Financial & Cost Accounting, and Management. Specifically, his area of expertise focus on issues related to Financial Intermediation, Financial Inclusion, and Economic Development.
