About
I am a PhD candidate in the Molecular Biosciences program at Rutgers University, working in Dr. Yevgeniy V. Serebrenik’s lab. My research focuses on understanding how cells maintain proteostasis and respond to protein misfolding events that drive neurodegenerative disease. Using pooled endogenous tagging and ligand-directed recruitment approaches, I study how protein quality control pathways recognize, remodel, and clear misfolded proteins across different cellular compartments to preserve proteome integrity and neuronal health.
