About
Professor Azamal Husen is a distinguished academic and researcher with over two decades of expertise in nanobiotechnology, plant physiology, environmental botany, medicinal plants, and clonal propagation. He has held several esteemed positions, including Full Professor and Head of the Department of Biology at the University of Gondar, Ethiopia, and Foreign Delegate at Wolaita Sodo University, Ethiopia. Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at Graphic Era University, India, and has also worked as Professor at Sankalchand Patel University and Visiting Faculty at reputed Indian institutions. Prof. Husen has led numerous national and international research projects, contributed to curriculum development, trained scholars worldwide, and delivered invited lectures at major scientific platforms. Honored by the University of Gondar for his outstanding service, he has been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2021 onwards) by Stanford University, ranking 5643 in Biology and 54 in Plant Biology and Botany. He is a prolific author, editor, and contributor to leading journals and academic book series.
