About

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Molecular Sciences at Arizona State University, working with Dr. Justin D. Earley on experimental quantum chemistry, with a focus on molecular spin qubits, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), and optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR). My current research explores optically addressable qubits and spin coherence in realistic, non-deuterated environments, bridging quantum sensing with materials chemistry.

I earned my Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences (2024) from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), conducted at CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR-IMMT), Bhubaneswar, under the supervision of Dr. Yatendra S. Chaudhary. My doctoral work centered on the design of intrinsic white-light-emitting nanostructured phosphors and their integration into W-LED prototypes, combining defect engineering, photophysics, and materials synthesis to develop non-rare-earth, single-phase emitters with high color rendering index.

My broader research interests span semiconducting materials for energy conversion and optoelectronics, charge transfer kinetics and excited-state dynamics. I work across a range of material systems — metal complexes, nanoclusters, quantum dots, perovskites, MXenes, and NV diamonds — using synthesis techniques from hydrothermal and microwave-assisted methods to thin-film deposition, alongside spectroscopic and simulation tools (EPR, XPS, TCSPC, ORCA, Gaussian, EasySpin)
