Sanjay Vasant Dudul was born on August 28, 1964. He received the B.E. Electronics and Power Engineering (with First class with Distinction and Gold Medal) from the Government College of Engineering, Amravati, India, in 1986, the M.E. Electronics Engineering with specialization in Computer Applications (First class with Distinction) from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, India, in 1989, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering from Amravati University, Amravati, in 2003. Since 3rd January 1995, he has been a Faculty Member with the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. On 31st July 2003, he was selected as a Professor (CAS) and, on 1st April 2004, he was nominated as the Head of the P.G. Department of Applied Electronics, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. He has 33 years of teaching experience, 15 years of administrative as well as research experience. He was also instrumental in the execution of some Department of Science and Technology and University Grants Commission projects. He has conducted numerous comprehensive workshops on neurocomputing techniques and their applications at several engineering colleges. He has also chaired technical sessions at international as well as national conferences. He has published one book and 107+ original research articles in peer reviewed and refereed international journals including IEEE Transactions, Elsevier Science Direct Journals, etc. One Indian Patent is granted to him and so far, he has filed 5 Indian patents. His publications are listed in SCOPUS and Web of science and his author 'h' Index is so far 11.0 in SCOPUS and 8.0 in Web of Science. Hitherto, he has produced 15 Ph.D. students under his supervision in Electronics Engineering as well as Computer science and engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer of the I.E. (India). He is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India) and the IETE. He is a member of CSI, ISTE, ISCA and ISA. His research area of interest includes Image Processing, AI, Smart Sensors, Machine Intelligence, VLSI, etc.
