About
Dr. Brijesh Tripathi was born at Raebareli (Uttar Pradesh) in 1983. He obtained the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from the C. S. J. M. University, Kanpur in 2003 and 2005 respectively. During 2006-2008, he worked as Research Trainee at Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore and as Management Trainee at Cell Technology Division, TATA BP Solar India Ltd., Bangalore during August, 2008 to January, 2009. In January, 2009, he joined the School of Solar Energy at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University as a Lecturer and registered for doctoral work under the supervision of Dr. Manoj Kumar in the year 2010. In 2012, he qualified NET (National Eligibility Test) Exam conducted by CSIR. He is life member of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT). He obtained Ph.D. degree in 2014 from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar in the area of theoretical and experimental studies of titanium dioxide based dye-sensitized solar cell. His areas of interest are modeling, simulation and experimental development of electronic devices, dye-sensitized solar cells, concentrator photovoltaics and thin film solar cells.
