About
I am a postdoctoral research fellow working at FLAME University Pune. My PhD thesis was in the Digital Humanities from the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur. My doctoral project is an attempt at theorising the aesthetic properties of reading using a mixed-methods approach, with a special focus on Indian digital social readers. My research interests include reading studies, digital humanities, digital pedagogy, and cognitive literary studies.
Prior to beginning my PhD project, I worked as an assistant professor in English (Language and Literature) in Indian higher education institutions. I have been recently awarded the data collection abroad (travel) grant by the Indian Council of Social Sciences Research for completing a research visit at the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz Germany. I am also a guest member at the Gutenberg Graduate School of the Humanities and Social Sciences, JGU Mainz.
