About
Prof. Pratyoosh Shukla is presently working as Professor at the School of Biotechnology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He was awarded with Indo-USA Research Professor at University of Cincinnati, USA. His research areas include enzyme technology and protein bioinformatics. Prof. Shukla and his research group focus on the integration of tools and techniques in microbe assisted biotechnological processes for environmental sustainability, bioproducts including bio-energy, and cost effective bioprocesses. He has 24 years research and teaching experience in reputed universities of India and abroad. He has written more than 47 book chapters, published more than 210 peer reviewed publications in reputed SCI journals. He is Fellow of National Academy of Sciences (FNASc), Fellow of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (FNAAS), Fellow of Academy of Microbiological Sciences (FAMSc), Fellow of Biotech Research Society of India (FBRS).
