About
I am Diksha Rai, completed my PhD on the total synthesis of rare sugar-containing complex oligosaccharides under Prof. Suvarn S. Kulkarni, from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. I have also worked on the synthesis of antileishmanial compounds during my internship at the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), India while pursuing my master's degree. In the spring of 2024, I started working in Dr. Lai-Xi Wang's lab, where my research mainly focused on a synthesis of various fluorinated glycans, which are valuable tools for metabolic oligosaccharide engineering (MOE) and immunological studies.
