Professor Y. Srinivas is a doctorate holder in the field of computer science and engineering. He has consistently maintained a stellar academic record. Joined Gitam University (Deemed to be University) in 2000 and has held positions at the institution as Director, Chairman- Board of Studies, and Head of the Department. He has published over 40 conference research articles worldwide, published more than 75 journal articles in reputed international journals, and serves as a reviewer for international journals . Under his supervision, 30 research scholars have received their PhDs so far. Additionally, he served as the Principal Investigator for DST and UGC-funded Research Projects. Carriedout consultancy works for numerous international organizations.
In addition to these, he served as a resource person for numerous conferences, workshops, and faculty development initiatives
