About
Dr. Ajoy Kanti Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Tripura University, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Tripura University, specializing in intuitionistic fuzzy rough relations, soft multisets, and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets. His research has made significant contributions to fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making models, enhancing their ability to address uncertainty, imprecision, and vagueness in decision-making processes. Dr. Das has an outstanding academic record, securing 1st class 1st position and receiving Gold Medals in both B.Sc. (2008) and M.Sc. (2010) Mathematics from Tripura University. He has received several prestigious awards, including the DST-INSPIRE Fellowship, CSIR-UGC NET, and MHRD GATE.
An active researcher, Dr. Das has published extensively in high-impact SCOPUS and SCI-indexed journals. His work spans fuzzy soft sets, hesitant fuzzy sets, neutrosophic sets, and their applications in decision-making, water quality assessment, and sustainable management. His current research interests include soft set theory, decision-making models, sequence spaces, topology, and real analysis. Dr. Das has delivered invited talks at various international conferences, including those held in Greece and Bulgaria. He also serves as an editorial board member for scientific journals. His research continues to advance mathematical models for real-world applications, particularly in environmental sustainability, computational intelligence, and multi-criteria decision-making.
