About

Dr. P. Viswanathan Professor at School of Computer Science and Engineering, VIT University, India. He received Diploma in computer technology from Sreenivasa Polytechnic, State Board of Technical Education, India, on 1998, Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India, on 2002, then Master of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, India, on 2006 and, he received his Doctorate Ph.D. from School of Computer Science Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India, on 2014. He received MBA System from Alagappa University Distance Education, Karakudi on 2006.
His current research interests include digital image processing, Machine learning, Deep learning, and Internet of Things. He was the recipient of several academic and research awards such as the best poster award from Indian science congress in the year 2007, Senior Member of IEEE, ACM and VIT Most Active Researcher Award for the year 2010-2026.
