About

I am a coastal hydrogeologist and aquatic geochemist working on groundwater-ocean interactions; including submarine groundwater discharge and coastal salinization. My research focuses on how groundwater transports nutrients, metals, and contaminants into coastal ecosystems, and how subterranean estuaries regulate these fluxes.
Currently, I am working on ocean alkalinity enhancement through coastal enhanced weathering to contribute to carbon dioxide removal approaches.

My long-term goal is to advance the understanding of Earth system processes at the land-ocean interface.
