About

Dr. R. Justin Joseyphus received his Ph.D. in the area of nanocrystalline magnetic materials from the University of Madras. He pursued his post-doctoral research at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, till the year 2007 and later joined the Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India, as a faculty. Investigating soft and hard magnetic materials, the most significant research work includes the synthesis of Fe nanoparticles using the polyol process, which has opened opportunities to explore the magnetic properties of chemically synthesized Fe-based alloys such as FeCo, FeNi, CuNi, FeCoNi and their applications. He is the author of the book 'Fundamentals of 57Fe Mossbauer Spectrometry' and a fellow of IoP (UK). His current research interest is in the structure-property correlation of magnetic materials and their applications.
