About
I am a Lecturer at a Virus Research Institute with a Master’s degree in Public Health Entomology and currently pursuing a Ph.D. focused on host–pathogen–vector interactions in Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) infection. My broader interests include diagnostic virology, vector–borne disease ecology, and translational approaches for emerging infectious diseases.
My doctoral work integrates virology, vector biology, immunology, and molecular epidemiology to understand how arthropod salivary proteins influence viral transmission and disease outcomes.
Beyond my Ph.D. research, I contribute to multiple interdisciplinary projects, including integrated One Health surveillance for zoonotic diseases, climate–tick–pathogen network modeling, surveillance tools development for Scrub-typhus, and pathogen discovery in acute febrile illness.
