About
I am a visionary scientist with extensive training in strengthening the interface between science, policy, and society. My primary goal is to bridge biotechnology and sustainable food security. My professional dedication has been focused on assisting countries in fulfilling their international biosafety obligations. Furthermore, I have collaborated with multilateral agencies to improve the international governance of biotech products. These efforts are aimed at ensuring that biotech products are not only safe but also meet international standards. As a member of the esteemed Global Young Academy, I am committed to promoting international, intergenerational, and interdisciplinary dialogues. My contributions to the academy have been geared towards achieving evidence-informed and inclusive global decision-making processes. My experiences have enabled me to develop a keen understanding of the nuances and challenges involved in bridging the gap between science and policy.
