About
Dr. Abhijeet D. Kulkarni is currently working as Professor and Dean, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sandip University, Nashik, Maharashtra. He completed his B. Pharm (2006) and M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics (2009, First Class) from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and qualified GATE (2006) with 97% score along with NIPER (AIR-135). He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2018 from KBCNMU, Jalgaon. With 16 years of academic and research experience, he specializes in Drug Delivery and Pharmaceutical Formulation Design, with focused research interests in phytochemical drug delivery, polyphenol-based drug delivery, cancer therapy, nose-to-brain drug delivery, and nano drug delivery systems. He has an outstanding research profile with 75 publications in national and international journals, a cumulative impact factor of 81.327, 1615+ Google Scholar citations, H-index of 19, I10-index of 24, and a ResearchGate interest score of 651.7. He has published 3 books and 9 book chapters with reputed national and international publishers, and holds 2 granted patents along with 8 published patents. He has received multiple competitive research grants from UGC, DBT, and AICTE, and his proposals have been recognized at national funding platforms. Dr. Kulkarni is a recipient of several prestigious honors including the Best Researcher Award, Research Excellence Award, and Young Achiever Award. He serves as Editor for two scientific journals and is a reviewer for many international journals. Actively engaged in academic leadership and research mentorship, he has guided over 30 postgraduate students, with six Ph.D. scholars currently pursuing research under his supervision, and has presented and delivered invited talks at numerous national and international conference
