About
I am a livestock systems scientist with a PhD from the University of Hohenheim, Germany. My long-term research aims to sustainably improve productivity and resource use efficiency in small- to medium-scale livestock production systems in the Tropics and Subtropics, and especially in sub-Saharan Africa. I am currently an assistant professor in the Group for Animal Husbandry in the Tropics and Subtropics at the Universities of Kassel and Göttingen, where I teach and research on topics around “climate smart livestock production”.
