About
I completed my Ph.D. in spintronics at NISER Bhubaneswar, under the supervision of Prof. Subhankar Bedanta. During my Ph.D., I have mostly worked on spin-to-charge conversion physics, i.e., spin Hall effect, the inverse spin Hall effect, spin-orbital coupling, etc., in oxide-based thin films. I have also worked in magnetotransport measurements and exchange bias studies in ferro-ferro and ferro-antiterror systems. After my Ph.D., I moved to the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, as a postdoctoral fellow. At IISc I worked with Dr. Sujit Das, where my focus was ferroelectric and multiferroic topology manipulation and applications. Subsequently, I moved to the University of California, Berkeley. At UC Berkeley I am working with Prof. Ramamoorthy Ramesh. Here my focus lies on finding new pathways for energy-efficient switching ferroelectrics and multiferroics.
