About

Dr. Khadim Moin Siddiqui is an Associate Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, IEEE Senior Member, researcher, academician, and author with 15+ years of experience in teaching and research. His research interests focus on Electrical Machines & Drives, Condition Monitoring & Fault Diagnosis, Signal Processing, Power Electronics, Smart Grids, Electric Vehicles & V2G Systems, Renewable Energy, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning applications in Electrical Engineering.

His research primarily focuses on developing intelligent and signal-processing-based techniques for the health monitoring, fault diagnosis, and predictive assessment of electrical machines. His doctoral research addressed Health Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motors Using Transformative Techniques, while his M.Tech. research focused on condition monitoring of induction motors using wavelet transform.

Dr. Siddiqui has contributed 56+ journal publications, 18 conference publications, 12 book chapters, 10 published books, and including 4 granted Indian patents. His research contributions have been published in international IEEE and IET venues and in books and chapters published by Springer and Wiley.

He is actively involved in the research and academic community as a Lead Editor, Guest Editor, peer reviewer, technical session chair, conference organizer, and invited speaker. He is currently serving as Lead Editor for the forthcoming Elsevier book *Advances in Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of Power Plant Machinery*.

His academic and professional contributions have been recognized through the Young Science & Technology Leader Award (DST, Government of India, 2025), Best Research Paper Awards, and Outstanding IEEE Advisor recognitions.

In addition to research, Dr. Siddiqui is actively engaged in mentoring and academic leadership. He has guided 38+ B.Tech. major projects and mentored student research resulting in publications in Springer LNEE volumes, Scopus-indexed conferences, and peer-reviewed journals. He is committed to advancing interdisciplinary research, mentoring young researchers, and developing innovative engineering solutions for smarter, more reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy systems.
