About
I am Dr. Bikash Pattanayak, Ph.D. in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur). Currently I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IIT Delhi. I have worked as Senior Research and Development Engineer at Tempsens Instruments Pvt. Ltd. My area of research includes Nuclear thermal hydraulics, CHF studies during boiling, interfacial behaviour during droplet impingement and heat transfer. In the Industry have worked in the domain of Heat Flux Sensors, Thermal conductivity meters, temperature calibrators. As an experimentalist, I have designed and developed a liquid bath for high temperature studies. I have designed and developed a high heat flux testing facility. I have worked in MATLAB and Ansys Fluent. I have experience in image processing as well. I have demonstrated exceptional proficiency in handling laboratory equipment such as temperature sensor, pressure sensor, flow rate sensor, thermal imaging camera, high speed camera. I have used characterization machines such as X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, contact angle meter, surface profilometer.
