About
Dr. Anurag Barthwal received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, supported by a fellowship from the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). A University topper and gold-medallist during post-graduation, he has over 10 years of teaching experience in Computer Science Engineering, coupled with corporate exposure in training and development. He has published 03 books, 06 patents, 12 book chapters and more than 50 research papers in journals and conferences indexed in the Web of Science, Scopus and ABDC Journal Quality List. He received a best paper award in 2014 and an award for outstanding teaching in 2022.
He is an Editor for Scientific Reports, PLOS ONE and the Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. He is a Reviewer for more than 80 peer-reviewed journals, published by Nature, IEEE, Elsevier, ACM, Springer, Wiley, Taylor Francis, SAGE, Emerald Publishing, MDPI, BioMed Central, IOS Press, Inderscience, IWA Publishing and World Scientific. His areas of interest include AI, Data Science, Internet of Things and Mathematical Modelling.
He is a member of the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM), The Indian Mathematics Consortium (TIMC), the Computer Society of India (CSI), the Systems Society of India (SSI), the Indian Social Science Academy (ISSA), and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
