Dr. Manoj received BSc and MSc degree from North Maharashtra University, India, and PhD from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, India, both in Computer Science. Dr. Manoj Devare currently holding position as Professor at Amity University Mumbai, India. He worked with well know institutions in India, like Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology-Baramati, Siddhant College of Engineering-Pune, and Pratap College-Amalner.

His PhD thesis was based on the Performance Optimization and resource allocation issues in Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Computer Networks. Dr. Manoj obtained the “Best Paper Award”, in international conference ICSCI 2008, Hyderabad, India, during completion of his PhD work.

Dr. Manoj has been served as Post Doctorate Fellow at Centre of Excellence on HPC at University of Calabria, Italy. He won the position of as the Young Researcher (Giovani Ricercatori Indiani) in University of Calabria, Italy. His research deals with Multi-Scale High Performance Computing in Grids, Virtualization, Clouds, and innovative applications of these technologies to scientific problems. Dr. Manoj has coined the concept of “Desktop Clouds” first.

His 2 Indian patents are granted. He published 9 international journal papers, and he wrote 6 edited chapters in international books. He published 15 international and national conference papers.

Dr. Manoj has been conducted series of national level conferences to motivate the post-graduate students for research. He was conducting “Open Source and Linux Week”, in which the various activities are conducted at Siddhant College of Engineering, India. He is continuously engaged review of research papers of journals and conferences. He is passionate about quality based teaching learning. He is engaged teaching of in programming languages, Network technologies, and software engineering concepts. He has been guided several MCA projects and took lead in project management.

Dr. Manoj has been worked with Nimbus (Chicago) Science Clouds. He is also working with the theoretical concepts of grid computing and emerging concepts of “Nvidia-Tesla” General Programming with Graphics Processing Units (GP-GPU). He has been published several papers, co-authored edited chapters, and wrote an articles in the news letter of international society of automation (ISA).
