About
Dr. Ramjeet Singh Yadav obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, on 29 January 2016. His doctoral research, titled “Modeling Academic Performance Evaluation Using Soft Computing Techniques,” was an extensive study that focused on developing intelligent and adaptive computational models for assessing and predicting academic performance. His research integrated multiple soft computing paradigms, including fuzzy logic, neural networks, and genetic algorithms, to enhance the precision and interpretability of educational assessment systems. The outcomes of his research provided valuable insights into the application of computational intelligence in the field of educational data mining and student performance evaluation.
Dr. Yadav began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (M.G.K.V.P.), Varanasi, where he served from 1 September 2002 to 31 July 2011. During this tenure, he was actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental academic planning and development. His commitment to innovative teaching methods and curriculum development helped strengthen the department’s academic standards.
In August 2011, he joined the Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management, Varanasi, as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, a position he held until 4 August 2021. As the Head of the Department, Dr. Yadav played a pivotal role in developing the department’s academic framework, promoting research culture, and introducing modern technological practices aligned with industry trends. He supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate projects, conducted technical workshops, and guided students in research-oriented activities. Under his leadership, the department experienced significant growth in academic excellence and research productivity.
Following his tenure at Ashoka Institute, Dr. Yadav served as an Assistant Professor (Computer Application) in the Department of Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU), Ayodhya. In this interdisciplinary environment, he contributed to integrating computational techniques and business analytics into management studies, fostering a deeper understanding of decision-making processes through data-driven models. His efforts bridged the gap between computer science and management disciplines, highlighting the growing importance of computational intelligence in entrepreneurial and organizational contexts.
At present, Dr. Ramjeet Singh Yadav is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University (KMC Language University), Lucknow. In this role, he continues to advance his academic and research endeavors, mentoring students, publishing scholarly work, and promoting innovative learning through emerging technologies. His teaching and research interests encompass Soft Computing, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Decision Science in Management. He emphasizes the application of artificial intelligence and computational models to solve real-world problems, particularly in educational systems, industrial automation, and management decision support.
With over 25 years of distinguished academic experience, Dr. Yadav has made notable contributions to both teaching and research. His scholarly achievements include the publication of 44 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. These works reflect his deep engagement with the evolving fields of intelligent systems and computational modeling. His publications have been recognized for their methodological rigor, innovation, and practical applicability in advancing soft computing and AI-based problem-solving frameworks.
Throughout his career, Dr. Yadav has remained deeply committed to academic excellence, interdisciplinary research, and the holistic development of his students. His vision is to foster a learning ecosystem where theory, experimentation, and innovation converge, enabling learners to apply advanced computational methods to real-world challenges.
