Dr. Aniruddha Chatterjee, has demonstrated his expertise in the field of nanocomposites with almost 16 years of teaching/research/industrial experience.
Presently working as Dean (R & D and Innovation) and Associate Professor & Head of Department of Platic and Polymer Engineering, MIT Aurangabad.
He was the Governing Body Member of Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) Aurangabad, Maharashtra for Academic Year 2019-2021
Established ISO 9001-2015 certified one micro enterprise in 2017 as M-CIP (MIT-Centre for Industrial Relevance in Polymer Science and Technology) and besides to promote research activities, recently established in 2019 another new research centre M-CAMRT “MIT-Centre for Advanced Materials Research and Technology” by aiming the implication of wider and innovative research ideas which may have to change the life of common people in a positive manner on local issues by developing alternative solutions, creating innovative multipurpose products at cheaper cost.
31 international publications in reputed journals (having impact factors from 2.227 to 13.282), 7 book chapters and 7 patents (2 granted & 5 filed) to his credit.
He has successfully handled 5 Major Research Projects from UGC, DST New Delhi and TEQIP, Seed Money and 1 recently completed one major research project funded by DST Nano Mission DST, New Delhi (total cost of the project is Rs.74.08 lakhs).
He has worked as DST Fast Track Young Scientist, Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under CSIR Major Research Project and Project Fellow (PF) under UGC Major Research Project.
Due to his significant contribution in research and development, he has received “Excellence Award for Quality Research and Development” by North Maharashtra University in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
He has attended/paper presented more than 42 national/international conferences and organized 25 conference/workshop/SSTP/FDP.
10 M. Tech students successfully completed their degree under his guidance, 4 Project Fellow guided under major research projects funded by different government funding agencies.
Presently, he is successfully guiding 2 Ph.D. students as Co-guide in nanotechnology field and 3 under PhD registration process.
