Vasanth is PhD from Manipal University, India. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the area of Operations Management, T.A. Pai Management Institute, India, where he teaches Simulation and System Dynamics Modeling, Operations Management, Project Management, and Healthcare Supply Chain Management.
He was earlier associated with Manipal University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities & Management, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. Also, he has industrial experience as a Manager in Project/ Maintenance Planning at Reliance Industries Ltd., Mumbai.
He is a member of the System Dynamics Society, and International Association of Engineers, London, UK. His methodological research focusses on methods and techniques for dealing with dynamically complex and deeply uncertain policy issues. His applied research interests include (but are not limited to) model-based policy support related to business policy, energy and environmental policy, and public policy in general.
