Dr. RADHA KRISHNA REDDY PALLAVALI

About

I am an assistant professor in the School of Computer Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE. I secured a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in October 2023 with the FCT (2021) fellowship. My research area is Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), particularly intelligent traffic signal control to reduce travel delays, fuel wastage, and associated emissions of air pollutants towards sustainable urban mobility.

I received a B.Sc. (2007) and an M.Sc. (2009) in Computer Science from SVU and an M. Tech (2014) in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU, India. I have two years of teaching experience in various educational institutions in India. I also have seven years of full-time research experience in CISTER Research Center-Porto, COPELABS-Lisbon, and Inria-Paris. I have also been an external collaborator with Prof. Samia Bouzefrane of CEDRIC Lab, CNAM-Paris, since October 2013, and CISTER Research Center since November 2023.

My research interests and expertise are in Cyber-Physical Systems, Multi-Agent Systems, IoT and Cloud/Fog Computing Security, and Self-Organization, Coordination, and Cooperation of Heterogeneous Networks and Objects/Systems, apart from ITS. With my academic and research experience, I have published several national and international journal papers and conferences, including a textbook.
