About
Dr. Aradhi Keshav Krishna is a Scientist-F at CSIR–National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR–NGRI), Hyderabad, and an Associate Professor at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), with over 26 years of research experience in environmental and analytical geochemistry.
His research focuses on understanding the geochemical processes controlling the distribution, mobility, and environmental behaviour of potentially toxic elements (PTEs) in soils, groundwater, and sediments, particularly in industrial, mining, and urban environments. His work integrates field investigations, advanced analytical techniques including wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF), multivariate statistical modelling, and emerging data-driven approaches.
Dr. Krishna’s research contributes to environmental monitoring, contamination assessment, and risk evaluation, with emphasis on soil–groundwater interactions, hydrocarbon-impacted systems, and geochemical baseline studies. He is a recipient of the National Geoscience Award (Government of India) for his contributions to geosciences.
