Sasmita Chand

About

Sasmita Chand is an Assistant Professor at the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Karnataka, India. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from IIT Dhanbad, an M.Tech. from BIT Mesra, Ranchi and an M.Sc. from Utkal University, India. Her research focuses on industrial waste management, particularly the leaching of constituent elements from solid industrial residues, with an aim to promote sustainable waste handling and environmental protection.
