About
Dr. Mohammad Farid earned his M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He was awarded his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2014 for his thesis entitled “Existence and Iterative Approximation of Common Solutions of Generalized Equilibrium Problems, Generalized Variational Inequality Problems, and Fixed-Point Problems,” completed under the supervision of Professor Kaleem Raza Kazmi.
His primary research interests include nonlinear functional analysis, variational inequalities, equilibrium problems, fixed-point theory, operator theory, optimization, approximation theory, and related areas.
He has published numerous research papers in internationally refereed journals, including Fixed Point Theory, Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, Mathematical Sciences, Journal of the Egyptian Mathematical Society, Journal of Nonlinear Analysis and Optimization: Theory & Applications, Journal of Inequalities and Applications, Journal of Mathematical and Computational Science, The Korean Journal of Mathematics, Advances in Difference Equations, Bulletin of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, Dynamics of Continuous, Discrete and Impulsive Systems, Series B: Applications & Algorithms, Journal of Mathematical Analysis, RACSAM, Mathematics MDPI, AIMS Mathematics, Axioms MDPI, Symmetry MDPI etc.
He has successfully completed several research projects, participated in various international conferences, and delivered several invited talks on nonlinear analysis and its applications.
