I am Ashish Akkewar, an aspiring Research Assistant in Intellectual Property Management and Regulatory Affairs at Suven Life Sciences. With a M. S. (Pharm.) in Medicinal Chemistry from NIPER, Guwahati, I bring a robust background in both scientific research and patent protection.
At Suven, a leading discovery-focused company, my responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of intellectual property and regulatory tasks. I conduct comprehensive patentability searches, develop patent landscapes, and engage in scientific writing. My expertise extends to drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications across multiple jurisdictions, including India, the US, Europe, PCT, and over 10 other countries. In addition to my IP management duties, I actively support ongoing projects through literature retrieval, provide strategic IP opinions to research teams, and assist attorneys with office actions from various patent offices.
