Sarvesh Kumar Srivastava
Technical University of Denmark, University of British Columbia, Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Leibniz-Institut für Festkörper- und Werkstoffforschung Dresden eV
About
Sarvesh holds a doctorate in bio/molecular materials from Kobe University (2014), Japan, with postdoctoral research in micromotors technology at the IFW, Dresden, Germany, and synthetic biology at the University of British Columbia, Canada. His research has pioneered bio/molecular interfaces for designing next-generation tools and therapeutics for healthcare and environmental applications. With four patent applications in molecular biology and medicinal chemistry, Sarvesh’s research has pushed the frontiers of active propelling nano/microsystems. His self-polymerizing microsystems (TRAP technology) research has opened a new avenue to the non-invasive sampling of cells and biomarkers, both in vitro and in vivo, opening a new area of exploration for cellular therapy and gut microbiome-metabolite assessment. Sarvesh is the recipient of prestigious awards/recognitions, including the Japanese Government Fellowship (MEXT), DAAD-Leibniz Postdoc Fellowship, MIT-DBT VSP Fellow, MSCA–H.C. Ørsted Postdoctoral Fellowship, and Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting alumni (2019). For more, please visit www.sknano.weebly.com.
