About
I have a great experience in microbiology and biochemistry, with strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team with more than 8 years of research experience.
I have four years of industrial experience where I have handled different projects and involved in research and development. I have also had 7 years of research experience in academic institute where have worked on biostatistics project for three years, and have worked for four years as research scholar on “Biochemical characterization and mechanism of lignin degradation in crop residues using Manganese Peroxidase of Basidiomycetes” at NIANP under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Manpal Sridhar to peruse my PhD.
With regard to my experience and specialization:
1. I have four years of industrial experience where I have handled various projects individually and also as a team. I have involved in process development of different small molecules by means of fermentation using different microorganisms, scale up, technology transfer and trouble shooting.
2. Have worked extensively on protein/enzyme for my PhD for five years. Have a in-depth knowledge about screening, production, assays , protein purification , enzyme kinetic studies, gel electrophoresis
3. have extensive experience in analytical field where I have handled instruments like Spectrophotometer, HPLC, GC, Size exclusion chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, PCR, ELISA plate readers to determine the quality and quantity of different products and also for the purification.
4. I have excellent knowledge on statistical software SAS and other statistical tools like SPSS, Minitab, Stata, and R software
