About
Currently, I am working at IIT Kanpur on automated map generalization for urban applications, leveraging geospatial data science and automation techniques to support smarter urban planning and decision-making.
I completed my Postdoctoral Research at UQAM (Université du Québec à Montréal), research on climate change adaptation and the identification of conditions conducive to human-transmitted diseases. This will provide the information to Public Heath of Canada (PHAC), needs to address the risks of infectious and emerging diseases in Canada.
In my Ph.D., I have conducted research on Integrating different machine-learning techniques with geospatial technology using remote-sensing datasets. The study is developed using Cloud Technology and is applied to varied real-time applications. The study has focused on the performance of remote sensing datasets in varied real-time applications. The applications are mostly in the domains of environment, climate change, and urban applications. Good knowledge of advanced methods and corresponding tools and techniques for analyzing big datasets.
