About
My research focuses on the biomedical aspects of nanotechnology and chemical biology in health and disease. Creating carbon-based nanozyme and nanoenzyme systems with different kinds of catalytic activity, such as removing oxidative stress and reducing hypoxia through catalase mimicry, etc.
Currently, I am employed at the University of Florida, USA, as an NIH postdoctoral associate focusing on the etiology of oxidative stress in placental malaria.
I have skills in nanomaterial (NM) synthesis and characterization, validation, biomedical application of NM, in vitro cell culture studies, Western blot, immunofluorescence, etc. I also gain hands-on training on different microscopic and spectroscopic techniques, including fluorescence, FTIR, TEM, XPS, XRD, CD spectroscopy, and confocal microscopy (for co-localization and biofilm analysis).
