• Dr. Kalesh M Karun, Ph.D. (Biostatistics), currently working as Scientist C, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, ICMR ( Belagavi, Karnataka, India).
• 15 years of teaching/Research experience (2009-25) in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Statistical Genetics, Statistical Inference, Regression models, Meta-Analysis, etc.
• Recipient of two National level research Awards – “The Young Biometrician award from the International Biometric Society (IBS)” & “The Prof. R. N. Srivastava award from the Indian Society for Medical Statistics (ISMS)”.
• Authored a book titled “Handbook on Biostatistics for health professionals" with Dr. Amitha Puranik.
