Dr. Abhishek Thakur is an Associate Professor in Computer Science Engineering with over 15 years of teaching experience and industry exposure. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala, an MBA in Information Technology from Symbiosis Pune, an M.Tech in ECE, and a B.E. in Electronics Engineering. He is currently associated with Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, and serves as a Visiting Professor at UPAEP, Puebla, Mexico, where he teaches Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning under the Global Summer School program.

His research interests include image and video forgery detection, deep learning-based multimedia forensics, biomedical image analysis, machine learning, and cloud-enabled IoT systems. He has authored four academic books, published extensively in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, and holds a patent in electronic systems. His work emphasizes the integration of theoretical research with practical, industry-driven applications.

Dr. Thakur is actively involved in international academic collaborations, faculty development programs, and research supervision, and regularly contributes as a reviewer for reputed journals in image processing, computer vision, and signal processing. His academic profile reflects a strong commitment to research excellence, applied learning, and innovation-driven education.
