About
Dr. V. Arun is a distinguished academic and researcher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with over 15 years of teaching and research experience. He is currently serving as a Professor at Mohan Babu University, Tirupati. He obtained his Ph.D. from Annamalai University in 2016 with a focus on reduced-switch multilevel inverter topologies, following his M.Tech. in Power Systems Engineering from Anna University and B.Tech. in EEE from SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
His core research areas include:

Power quality enhancement
PWM techniques and drive control strategies
Dr. Arun has authored over 100 SCIE/Scopus-indexed journal publications and presented more than 50 papers in reputed IEEE and international conferences. He has several patents to his credit, including one granted by the Australian government.
He serves as a reviewer for many high-impact journals and has successfully guided numerous UG, PG, and Ph.D. projects. In recognition of his research contributions, he has received accolades such as the Second Best Researcher Award and the Chancellor’s Award of Excellence from Mohan Babu University.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE), and a life member of ISTE, and is actively involved in institutional research coordination, NAAC/NBA accreditation processes, and innovation-driven academic programs.
