Prof. Dr. V. Saravana Kumar is an accomplished Indian academic and researcher with over 20 years of teaching experience, including 6 years of focused research involvement. He is currently serving as a Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering, Galgotias University (deemed to be), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer & Information Technology (2017) from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, a government university in Tamil Nadu, India. His doctoral research, under the guidance of internationally acclaimed academic Prof. Dr. E.R. Naganathan [Rtd Prof, GITAM University, Bengaluru, Rtd Prof & Head, Alagappa University, Karaikudi] focused on "Hyperspectral Image Segmentation Based on Enhanced Estimation of Centroid (EEOC) with Unsupervised Clustering Methods."

Prof. Dr. Saravana Kumar holds dual postgraduate degrees – an M.Tech. in Computer & Information Technology (2008) and an M.Sc. in Statistics (1995) – both from this university. Moreover, He earned his B.Sc. in Mathematics from GVN College, affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, in 1992. His rare & excellent academic blend of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computing uniquely positions him at the intersection of teaching and advanced research.

Throughout his career, Prof. Dr. Saravana Kumar has held several senior academic positions, including Head of the Department, Assistant Chief Superintendent for University Examinations, and Member of various academic and research boards such as Board of Examiners, Board of Studies, and Doctoral Committees. He currently supervises Ph.D. research scholars and serves as an academic mentor and advisory committee member.

Prof. Dr. Saravana Kumar has published more than 60 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences, with significant contributions in Digital Image Processing, Data Mining, and Artificial Intelligence. His work includes SCI-indexed journal publication (Thomson Reuters), Annexure-I indexed journal publications, 23 Scopus-indexed publications, International book chapters in Springer, IGI Global, and Wiley

He is actively involved in research proposal development, faculty development programs, conference organization, and international collaborations. He has lectured and organized workshops at leading institutions such as Rajalakshmi Engineering College - Chennai, SreeNidhi Institute of Science and Technology -Hyderabad, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College - Tirupati, Jayamatha Engineering College - Kanyakumari, SCAD College of Engineering & Technology - Tirunelveli, CMS College of Engineering -Namakkal,

He received the Wipro-Mission10X award for "Excellence in Engineering Education through Innovation" in 2010.

Prof. Dr. Saravana Kumar actively seeks opportunities for international collaborations, including roles as Invited Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Session Chair / Panelist Technical / Advisory Board Member, Reviewer for international conferences and journals

He is currently working on launching global research initiatives and project collaborations through international grants and partnerships. He aspires to contribute significantly to global academia by sharing his expertise across conferences, workshops, and joint research programs.
