About
Dr. Kalpesh Gaur is currently working as Professor, Geetanjali Institute of Pharmacy, Geetanjali University, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He did his B.Pharm from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. He has earned his M.Pharm in Pharmacology from Bhupal Noble’s College of Pharmacy, Udaipur, Rajasthan and doctorate (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jaipur National University, Jaipur, Rajasthan. His current research interests are immunomodulation, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory & analgesic of natural products.
Dr. Gaur has 20 years of experience in academics and published 52 research papers and reviews in peer reviewed journals. In addition to this he has also received various Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Department of Biotechnology (DBT) grant like Seminar grant Rs. 1,20,000/- from ICMR; Rs. 1,50,000/- from DBT and Rs. 22,000/- from Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI).
He has guided 1 Ph.D. student, 21 postgraduate students; 64 undergraduate students and currently 1 Ph.D. student, 2 postgraduate students and 3 undergraduate students are working under his guidance.
Dr. Gaur is working as Editor-in-chief of International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Research (IJPSDR). He is serving as Secretary of Association of Pharmacy Professionals (APP) Rajasthan State Branch. He is also serving as advisory board member, editorial board member and reviewer for many National and International indexed journals. He is a life member of The Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Association of Pharmacy Professionals and InPharm Association. He has attended many national and international conferences, seminar, symposia, and workshops.
