I am an applied Econometrician and Economics educator with over 15 years' experience bridging empirical research, higher education, and public policy. My career blends data-driven policy evaluation with strategic academic governance.

I have spearheaded international quality assurance (AACSB Coordinator at UPES, NAAC at SIU) and held key leadership roles, including Area Chair, Program Head, and Assistant Dean of International Affairs at BML Munjal University, driving departmental strategy and global partnerships .

Currently a Visiting Professor at UQAC (Canada), my research bridges macroeconomic trade policy and micro-level development economics . I utilize advanced empirical methods to address challenges in international trade, health, gender, and climate . As Co-Principal Investigator on funded projects with MITACS Canada and ISI Delhi, I investigate causal pathways between climate adversity and female genital mutilation, as well as the nexus of intimate partner violence, anaemia, and women's economic empowerment .

Policy Impact & Thought Leadership
I am committed to translating rigorous research into national strategy and public debate. Consulting for the Ministry of Commerce, IIFT, CUTS International, and Oxfam, I have driven high-impact evaluations on RCEP Non-Tariff Measures, India’s export content, and competition regulation's effect on food inflation . This policy groundwork links to my academic publications (e.g., Indian Economic Journal, Journal of Asian Economic Integration), where I model endogenous trade agreements and production networks . I actively shape public discourse on global trade, "Trump 2.0," and tariffs through regular contributions to The Diplomat, Scroll.in, 360info, and The Economic Times .

Mentorship & Expertise
With a proven track record in doctoral supervision, I regularly conduct statistical training and deliver invited lectures on multivariate regression and impact evaluation at institutions like JNU, RIS, Dhaka School of Economics, and IIT Kanpur .
