About

The main area of my research is on the development of a ​label-free biosensor for cancer biomarker detection. Besides this, I am also engaged in teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students. I have a strong desire to pursue my career in academics, research & development related to bio-nanotechnology and related areas. I have gained experience in handling and analyzing of following Instruments:
 Hands-on experience in Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, UV-Visible, Spectroscopy, Surface Plasmon Resonance, Cyclic Voltammetry, Differential Pulse Voltammetry, Impedance Spectroscopy, Contact Angle measurements, Particles and Zeta Size Analyzer, Langmuir-Blodgett Films and Screen printing.
 Working knowledge in electron microscopy (AFM, SEM, TEM), X-Ray diffractometry, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and Raman Spectroscopy.
I am experienced in the preparation of various nanomaterials, fabrication of microfluidics devices and their applications in biosensors:
 I have prepared a number of organic-inorganic functional materials, biomaterials, and nanomaterials.
 Synthesis of single layer and few layer graphene, Graphene oxide (GO), multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and nanoparticle (Au, Pt, ZnO, Fe3O4, ZrO2)
 I have deposited a number of films on desired substrates using self-assembly, electrochemical, electrophoretic, Langmuir-Blodgett and screen printing techniques and surface modification, micro- & nanopatterning for biosensor applications.
 Specialization in the area of advanced functional biomaterials based genosensor and immunosensor application for the detection of water-borne pathogens and cancer employing electrochemical and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) techniques.
