Dr.D.S.Vijayan(Academician, Researcher, Reviewer, Editor, Innovator and Consultant) complete Graduation in Civil Engineering from Bharath University in the year 2007, Post-Graduation in Structural Engineering from B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering College Affiliated to Anna University in the year 2010 and has received Doctorate degree from Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research in June 2017 in the title of “Behavior Of Pre-Stressed Concrete Beams Strengthened With Fibre Reinforced Polymer Laminates” with high recommendation and completed my doctorate in pre-stressed concrete beams with FRP Laminates and has major interest in design and experimental works.
Published 12 International Research papers and 7 National Research Paper. He has 2 Patent to his credit in the area of Juliflora plant Ash replacement with cement in the field of civil engineering and attended 13 National and International workshop. Attended more than 100 online webinar and complete 40 online courses in courser, etc. Reviewed 36 research article from leading journals like Elsevier journals, Scopus etc. Have 2 years of industrial and 11years of teaching experience.
Has a life member in ICI (Indian Concrete institute), ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education), InSc Life member, Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI] life member from 2019 and ASCE (American Society for Civil Engineering). Certified Registered Engineer Grade I from Greater Chennai Corporation from 2019 to 2024 and Certified Registered Structural Engineer Grade I from CMDA (Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority) from 2019 to 2024. Certified Chartered Engineer from Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI].
Currently working as Associate Professor in the department of Civil Engineering on Aarupadi Veedu institute of Technology and guiding 1 full time Ph.D., Research scholars and 2 part time Research Scholar Currently working in the field of sensor Structural Heath Monitoring, Geopolymer Stabilized Expansive Soils, Bottom Ash, Pre-stressed Concrete, Etc.
