About
Deeply interested in microbial diversity in the environment as they are the most versatile organisms on earth. Current research interests include microbial diversity (psychrophilic through mesophilic to thermophilic) in environment, source tracking, molecular epidemiology, food/ water borne pathogens and drug resistance among microorganisms. Role of microorganisms in marine biogeochemical cycles is of recent interest. Support a good team of students and researchers to achieve the objectives.
