About
Currently pursuing my Doctorate degree under the guidance of Dr. Vaibhav Kulshreshtha (Principal Scientist) at CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute. Bhavnagar, Gujarat. I got enrolled in August 2022 at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR).
My research is majorly devoted to the synthesis of efficient electrocatalysts for improved hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions (HER & OER) and other energy-related applications. I have worked on the synthesis and characterization of polyelectrolyte membranes (PEMs) for water desalination and direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs). For the synthesis of electrocatalysts, I am mainly exploring 2D carbon-based nano-materials like Mxenes and their further modifications for effective water splitting. A part of my research is also focused on developing stable and best-fit electrode materials for Capacitive deionization (CDI), which is another emerging water desalination technique.
Constantly looking to improve my skills and connect with people in academia.
