About
Dr M. Shuaib Khan earned his Ph.D. in Anatomy from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia, where he researched skin graft cryopreservation using Antarctic yeast-isolated antifreeze peptides (AFP). This research led to a successful patent application supported by Universiti Putra Malaysia. His research on organ cryopreservation and transplantation was published in Cryobiology, making him the first Pakistani scientist to publish in this area.
He is currently an Associate Professor of Veterinary Anatomy in the Department of Basic Veterinary Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Gomal University Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. He is a member of the, the Society of Cryobiology, the World Association of Veterinary Anatomy, and the Malaysian Society of Microscopy, and was formerly a graduate member of the Malaysian Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA). He has presented his research at numerous international conferences and scientific meetings, including those of Putra Sarjana Malaysia, society of cryobiology, Malaysian Chemical Society and Malaysian Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA). He has supervised and co supervised 12 MPhil and 02 PhD students and also helped and guided many international scholars from different countries in the area of veterinary medicine and biomedical research.
