About
Naresh Kumar belongs to Shahtalai, a small town in Himachal Pradesh, India. He completed his BSc from H.P. University, Shimla, and moved to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India for MSc-Chemistry in 2007. He joined the research group of Prof. Manoj Kumar at the same University, as a Ph.D. fellow in 2010. He has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at PPSM, ENS-Cachan, France from May 2014 to September 2016. Presently, From Nov. 2016 to Nov. 2018, he worked as a JSPS-postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Chemical Biology; Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University, under the supervision of Prof. Kikuchi, Kazuya. Presently, he is working as an assistant professor at the dept. of chemistry, SRM University, Delhi-NCR Sonepat, India. His research includes chemical biology, fluorescent scaffolds, supramolecular hosts, energy transfer systems for ions/molecules, and their applications to bio-imaging.
