About

Dr. Munish Garg is presently working as Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak having more than 20 years of professional experience. He is past Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has also worked as Director, Inter Quality assurance Cell (IQAC), Director, and Centre for Startup, Incubation and Innovation in his university. He has previously worked as Assistant Director, All India council for Technical Education, New Delhi, then Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Govt of India.
His research area is Quality control, standardization and bio-prospection of Medicinal Plants and Formulations in which he has more than 90 publications, 4 patents, 3 books and financial grant of more than 3.0 Crores from different Government funding agencies to his credit. He is Guest Editor of the reputed Bentham Science Journal “Current Drug Delivery”. He has supervised more than 50 research scholars for their Postgraduate and Doctoral Theses and dissertations. He is in the panel of experts in several Govt bodies like Pharmacy Council of India, AICTE, UGC, NAAC, DST etc. for the financial grant, approvals and accreditation.
